About the speaker:
Jennifer Wright began her vast editing career casually editing a friend's newspaper column. Her science career led her to teaching. She worked on print materials to support the ABC's school broadcasts and produced various publications for schools, before becoming editor of USQ's Australian Science magazine.
From there, Jennifer and SocEdQld colleagues created the first national editing conference. After completing a visual art diploma, she began creating public art. Over the past decade Jennifer has made art with scientists and draws on her editing skills to communicate and build relationships with her community.
