Starting your editing career

EdsQ Member meeting Wed. 6 June 2018

Megan Harris was one of four editors who spoke on the emerging leaders panel at the 2017 IPEd conference. Megan will talk about starting out as an editor, the things she knew and the things she wished she had known.

Date: Wednesday 6 June 2018
Time: 6.30pm (nibbles and drinks from 6.00pm)
Venue: The Gabba Ward Office, 2/63 Annerley Rd Woolloongabba (corner of Crown St and Annerley Rd) - entry via the back door off the car park. Ample parking at the back or on street.

Cost: $12 for members (and QWC members with membership receipt), $17 for non-members.

Megan Harris has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Writing, and a Graduate Certificate in Writing, Editing and Publishing, both from the University of Queensland. She works with the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority on syllabus redevelopment and has just completed a professional development course in structural editing for fiction.
