Technical editing - Wednesday 3 March 2010!

Are you interested in technical editing? Have you considered taking on technical editing work, but you’re not sure what’s involved and you’d like to find out? Or perhaps you’ve started editing in this very diverse field and you’re looking to learn from more experienced technical editors.

Or do you already have many years’ experience as a technical editor, and wish to share that experience with others?

If you fall into any of these groups, join us at the German Club on 3 March for an informative discussion of this very interesting field of editing, based on a number of scenarios presenting the kind of challenges technical editors are likely to face. This is a great opportunity to learn from your fellow editors, share your experiences and get to know other members of the society.

We hope to see you there and please feel free to bring guests, who are more than welcome. Cost for members or non-members will be just $5 each.

Our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month (we will occasionally move to another night to accommodate a special guest speaker) at the Brisbane German Club,
416 Vulture Street Woolloongabba. The cost is $10 on evenings when we have special guest presenters, or just $5 on other nights. Everyone is welcome. You’ll find members there from as early as 6 pm enjoying a drink and a meal.
